Forgetting the Ordinary - The Last Straw

The last hoorah for a collaborative endeavour between Michael Georgetti, Ross Coulter, Paul Wotherspoon and myself. This exhibition presented the cumulative results of four years of conversation, conflict, work and travel, including a brief residency at both the Merzbarn and Grizedale Arts, in the UK.
This work was a way of fulfilling our original plan of holding an exhibition in London - an opportunity which failed to materialise through a series of miscommunications and administrative blunders - at Vitrine, in Bermondsey Square.

Using found materials from my studio, I recreated the layout of the gallery space and populated it (and the surrounding gallery walls) with works which had been proposed by myself and other members of the group during various discussions in the lead up to the exhibition which did not occur.
